At Africa’s Hub for Skills & Enterprise Development (AHSED), we’re changing that narrative, one skill at a time.
Imagine a young woman named Chidera, who grew up in a small Niger Delta village. She had big ideas but no path to pursue them. Unemployment loomed, and hope was fading. Then, she joined AHSED’s digital skills program. Through months of training in coding and problem-solving, Chidera transformed from a dreamer into a doer. Today, she runs a tech startup, employing three other youths and inspiring her community. Chidera is one of over 3,000 individuals AHSED has empowered with soft, digital, and entrepreneurial skills—tools that unlock employability, spark innovation, and fuel sustainable growth.
